This is a trailer for a 70’s gay porn movie that was a parody of “Charlie’s Angels”, this time titled, “Harley’s Angels”. I don’t have the full movie of the “Harley’s Angels”, but this came from a collection of vintage movie trailers that I will be adding to the site, and they are hysterical! It’s mostly the voiceover descriptions and hard-sell marketing that make them funny, but there are plenty of hot guys and visual kitsch, too.

Directed by Arch Brown, it’s described as “a fantastic parody of Charlie’s Angels where 3 hot guys must solve the mystery of Charlie’s missing motorcycle gloves.”

It stars Adam Peace, Jayson MacBride, Jesse St. James, Jonathan West, Justin Thyme,
Ken Darrell, Marty Boyer, Pete Fellows, and Webb Steel as Harley.

I added a preview video of “Junior Cadets – Big Brother” to the blog the other day. Have you seen it? It’s definitely got some camp elements to it, stemming from the voice-over dialogue that was added later. The three actors doing the dialogue may not have been in the same room at the same time when they recorded the voice track. They don’t seem to have any connection to each other, often just talking over the others, and it’s pretty much unscripted.

Some of the unintentionally funny lines that come out it are:

“Hey, what’re you doing to my ass?”
“Why do you care?”

“This guy’s gonna come in my back door. Hope it’s a stiff one.”

But, to me, it’s the thick New York accent of the one guy who is obviously much older than the character he is portraying that is the funniest. Scroll down to the preview clip and see for yourself. And there is more hilarity in the VIP Room!

TV commercial for the old New York bath house, Man’s Country. My question is, what TV station did that run on? “Come once and you’ll come again and again!”

Other than the tragic hipsters that wear their hair like Justin Bieber, most gay men have very short cropped hair. Back in the 70’s, long hair was a symbol of freedom and rebellion, regardless how unmanageable and ugly it actually looked. Most guys who grew their hair out actually hoped that it would look like this example of manhood on Mike Delfino. Unfortunately, not everyone is blessed with those kind of hair genes, and their mop tops just looked like hell most days.

You can either admire his lovely haircut or be jealous of it. Personally, I would prefer to lust over his shapely ass than his hair. Look at the power behind that ass and how it must thrust against the anxious hole of his partner. I’ll take that anytime. Style Points awarded.

If you’ll notice, the interesting twist in this cartoon is that all the big, hunky studs are the bottoms and skinny guys are the tops!

Last week I had a friend come in and spend a couple days scanning old vintage gay porn magazines for this website. He scanned about 30 magazines, and at about 50 pages each, that’s…. well, …. um, … 50 bazillion new photos I can add to the site!

The cleverly titled “3 Way Fuck” is the first of that new batch and I’m going to show you more of this first magazine over the next few days. I wanted to get this pot-smoking picture up first. I love seeing pot smoking and snorting poppers in these old vintage gay porn movies and magazines! But it makes me wonder, were we smoking more pot in the 70’s or are we smoking more pot now? It’s hard to say. I know that I have actually curbed my pot smoking many years ago just to be more productive everyday. I wonder if the rest of the country is smoking more weed that years ago, or are they just snorting more crystal? With so much Medical Marijuana floating around San Francisco, you can’t really judge by that. Just like it’s hard to tell if guys are having gay sex more today than in the 1970’s.

The Rabbit Hutch was a quickie exploitative magazine from the early or mid-70’s during the period when they couldn’t publish anything showing hardcore penetration. As a result, the poses in this magazine all look “posed” or staged. It’s about 3 younger guys hooking up, but it doesn’t seem to really have any story behind it, or else the pages got printed out of order or something. The guys have nice bodies, but I have a hard time getting past the hairdos of the two brunettes.

That un-styled frizzy hair was very popular at the time, simply because guys desperately wanted to grow their hair longer just to piss off their parents, but really didn’t have “plan” as to how they wanted their hair to look or how to achieve it. They just wanted long hair anyway they could. The result just looks unkept and frizzy. When you get a couple of these bad haircuts together, I immediately think of the guys on Welcome Back, Kotter. John Travolta is probably to blame for an entire generation of bad haircuts (and closeted Scientologists, but that’s another story…)

The Rabbit Hutch is 101 pages of big hair, big cocks and big tease (from not showing any penetration). Get a VIP Membership and have few laughs thinking about Barbarino, Epstein and Horshack fucking each other in all the same positions.

It’s unusual for me to come across a vintage gay porn movie from my collection that has sound, but I wasn’t sure I should even use it for this clip. The sound sucks so bad, I nearly just deleted it and added music, but I decided that the bad sound is actually part of the charm. “Hot Pants Voyeur” was made during the era when they didn’t have cheap sound recording ability when they shot these fly-by-night XXX movies. Instead, they brought in actors in post production to provide dialogue during the fuck scenes. At some points during this scene, I’m certain the actors weren’t even in the same room when they recorded it. Can you imagine how hard it must be for an actor to pretend they are having sex while delivering pithy, insightful, and stimulating dialogue? At the time, producers must have thought that “dirty talk” would actually enhance a scene. It took a long time for them to realize that’s not the case.

And as for the music, what little you could hear under the actors and generally bad recording technique actually sounds pretty good. I wish I could get a hold of more of that music in hifi.

The scene is two younger, slim twinky guys fucking in a bed on checked sheets. A guy is standing in the doorway, and later right outside the window watching all the action. Now, if the guys in bed turned their heads just slightly they would have instantly known they had company! Perhaps they were just as mesmerized by the voyeur’s hot pants as I was!

But these weren’t just any pair of hot pants. These were very early 1970’s style, high waisted gaberdine shorts with at least 12 big white buttons. Trust me when I tell you, a long row of white buttons was very stylish at the time. In fact, since I couldn’t buy a pair of my own, I actually sewed a set of white buttons on the fly of my favorite Levis.

More proof I was a budding poof even in Junior High. Style points awarded for this scene, but not for the sound!
