I started working on this vintage magazine called “Images” that featured a curly-haired model called Mike Delfino. I got a little chuckle over the name because it’s also the character’s name of James Denton on “Desperate Housewives” who is married to Teri Hatcher’s character. Given that the show is created by a gay man, they take every opportunity to hire the hottest guys and get them shirtless as often as possible. The first few seasons Mike Delfino appeared, he was shirtless in almost every scene.
Other than being spotlighted as sex symbols, there’s not much similarities between these two men, particularly when you consider there is about a 30-35 year difference in their ages. Scary.
