They don’t seem to have any connection to each other, often just talking over the others, and it’s pretty much unscripted.

Guys, THIS is the kind of magazine that you came to Vintage Bareback searching for! It’s from 1962 and it’s the big “annual” issue of The Young Physique Magazine, and it is a real stunner. Though there is no nudity, it’s the traditional beefcake magazine of posing straps and muscle men from you dad’s era.
The photography is almost on par with fashion magazines of the time and since the guys mostly kept there clothes on and didn’t have to do much man-on-man touching, the photographers were able to recruit a wider range of beautiful men. At the same time, they faced the challenge of how to not only make pretty pictures, but they had to be creative enough to make it appealing enough to closeted gay men that they would take the risk of ordering it through the mail while it was still illegal. That was a lot to think about, especially when there was no precedent set for running that kind of business.
I scanned all 70 shots from this once a year issue of The Young Physique, and though the paper it was printed on was low grade, most of the shots were full-page sized, so I was able to get pretty good scans.
