I’m sure there is a story behind this magazine, California Lineman, and it has something to do with a telephone repair man and hard hats. Pretty easy to predict. The repairman is sinewy hairy daddy with the classic 70’s mustache (best described as a pornstache) and mirrored Aviator sunglasses.

I remember back in the early 1980’s there was a super hot gay telephone installer in the South of Market area that was, needless to say, very popular at gay households. That scenario played out many times in real life.
The phone customer in this magazine is a younger, twinkish guy with long hair, and makes a good bottom for the Italian Stallion. Another blue collar guy shows up at some point to also have his way with the long haired twink, but he’s not as memorable.
