This movie had no titles or credits and came in a plain white box when I found it as an 8mm film. I named it “Brutal Leather Daddies” because there is no other way to describe it. I must be from the early 1970’s because it was quite primitive in many ways, and not only in film making technique.

I get a sense that the sex play was as amateur as the director, if there even was a director. It appeared to be mostly a stationary camera on a tripod, and as characters came and went out of the frame, I assume one of the players was running the camera as well.

There are four manly, hairy, big dick daddies in this movie, with only one as the battered submissive, and boy, does he get battered. The phrase “Safe, Sane, Consensual” as the leathermen’s code did not come into widespread use until much later, and scenes like this are what lead to pleas for self-regulation and safety concerns in the leather community.

Just like bodybuilding, there is good pain and bad pain. If you lift weights with good technique you’ll “feel the burn” of muscles growing, but if you your technique is sloppy, you’ll injury yourself. Same with sex play. If you know what you’re doing, the pain feels good. If not, the “ahhs” turn to “ouches” and screams of “get me out of here!”

For true S&M fans, the mark a good movie is seeing real terror in the guy’s face, and “faking it” is frowned upon. In this movie, the guy is in real pain, and not all of it is the “good” pain.

In their clumsy, awkward way, these daddies strip down a buff and hairy guy in his late 30’s and work over every inch of him in as many blood curdling and disgusting ways their inexperienced minds could conjure. They squeeze his nipples with clothes pins, drip hot candle wax on his ass, shove dildos in him without preparation, paddle him, fist him and piss in his face. Though the bad guys are dressed in classic leather jackets, boots, and mustaches and really look the part of the 1970’s leather daddy. Their fetish technique, however, proves otherwise. But keep in mind, movies like this taught an entire generation and inspired a multitude of evil geniuses to “do a better job”.

A glaring example of inexperience comes just from the location – a boring bedroom scene with a twin bed. You’ll never see a Titan movie with four big leather guys on a single bed with a mushy mattress and bedspread. (What heavy leather movie has a bedspread!?) But the kicker for me was the piss scene on the same bed with an oriental rug on the floor! Anyone with experience in golden showers (or two brain cells in their head) knows that if you piss on a bed, you pretty much gotta throw it out afterward! I think they figured that out part way through filming, because for the big finale, they did move to the bathroom to finish him off. After fisting the poor guy while straddled over the edge of clawfoot tub (not a comfortable position for any length of time) he gets shoved in the tub for a real golden shower from a big dick daddy.

Piss in a bathtub can be washed away easily, but the stains on your retinas from this movie cannot.
